Beta ground rules
CueRoom is an experimental social game. These terms set expectations during the beta while full legal copy is prepared.
What "beta" means here
- • Rooms, scores and catalogs can be wiped at any time when the server restarts or a migration ships.
- • Video playback is feature-flagged — it may be turned off temporarily if provider policy or quota changes.
- • APIs, room codes and URL shapes are not stable yet. Expect breaking changes.
Player responsibilities
- • Only connect a YouTube account you actually control.
- • Don't try to use another player's display name to impersonate them in a room.
- • Don't import copyrighted material into a room where you're not entitled to replay it.
- • Treat the reveal window like any other party game — no screenshotting someone's library for hate-brigading.
Liability during beta
The beta is provided as-is. No warranties are made about uptime, fairness of rounds or persistence of scores. Game state can be reset by the operator at any point. Embed playback is governed by YouTube's own terms inside the iframe.
These terms apply while CueRoom is in beta. A finalised version, including a business entity, jurisdiction and dispute process, will replace this page before a public launch.
